BNY Mellon Ireland Banking and Financial Services 1700 $1.2B Ireland Linedata Linedata Global Hedge Portfolio and Investment Management 2015 n/a
In 2015 BNY Mellon Ireland migrated the Linedata Beauchamp application, formerly FundManager, to BNY Mellon U.S. infrastructure and upgraded the application to Linedata Global Hedge. Linedata Global Hedge was deployed into the firm s Portfolio and Investment Management environment to support institutional investment operations servicing clients in Hong Kong, London, the Netherlands and the U.S. The engagement was executed as a data centre migration combined with an application version upgrade. Workstreams coordinated Database, Network and other technology teams to resolve system access and application setup issues specific to the U.S. data centre, while the Application Services Manager and team liaised with the Technology Support Group to migrate external clients from the Dublin based Citrix Access Gateway to new Citrix access in the U.S. Deployment activities covered application, web, Citrix and SSIS servers, and included scheduling of application jobs, targeted configuration of advanced monitoring on specific servers, and a quality survey of the full application stack. The team worked with the EMEA Technology group to plan Disaster Recovery rehearsals, mock migrations and Go Live weekends, and prepared production readiness deliverables including Help Desk documentation and a Support Team run book. Operational governance focused on provisioning technology team access to servers, documenting Disaster Recovery procedures and providing post Go Live production support, with the team addressing production issues following the Go Live weekend. The work linked Linedata Global Hedge, Portfolio and Investment Management processes and cross functional technology operations to stabilize client servicing after the migration.
ICBC Asset Management (Global) Company Banking and Financial Services 50 $30M Hong Kong Linedata Linedata Global Hedge Portfolio and Investment Management 2018 n/a
In 2018, ICBC Asset Management (Global) Company implemented Linedata Global Hedge as part of a multi-asset portfolio management deployment. The deployment centers on Linedata Global Hedge together with Linedata Mshare within the Portfolio and Investment Management category to support the firm’s Hong Kong based global fund business, with an explicit 2018 roadmap to expand its fund line-up across equity, fixed income, money markets, derivatives and private equity. The implementation emphasized modular portfolio management functionality, combining automation, broad data capture and an intuitive user interface to streamline portfolio workflows. Configuration work focused on front and middle office portfolio workflows, trade capture and position management, and enhanced reporting capabilities, aligning Linedata Global Hedge to standard portfolio and investment operations. Integrations included custodian interfaces and connectivity with multiple third parties to support increased client asset and trade flow across multiple fund types. Robust reporting was implemented to consolidate data from these interfaces and to support client reporting needs and internal oversight, providing a unified data capture layer for the global fund business. Lansdowne Partners Banking and Financial Services 200 $70M United Kingdom Linedata Linedata Global Hedge Portfolio and Investment Management 2008 n/a
In 2008 Lansdowne Partners implemented Linedata Global Hedge to centralize Portfolio and Investment Management across the firm’s front office and back office functions. The program delivered a centrally integrated, real-time enterprise management system that replaced spreadsheet-driven workflows and established a single system of record for trading and operational activities. The deployment encompassed core modules for Trade Entry and Order Management, P&L Reporting, Risk, Compliance, Accounting, Commissions Management, Investor Services and Product Control. Linedata Global Hedge was configured to support real-time P&L and risk feeds and to produce a firm-wide weekly risk report as part of ongoing operational reporting. The implementation included a data migration and systems consolidation element, notably the transfer of eight years of trading history from SS&C Antares into Beauchamp Fund Manager now known as Linedata Global Hedge. The project integrated all aspects of the firm’s front office and back office systems on a real-time basis, enabling centralized trade lifecycle processing and reconciled accounting flows. Governance and rollout were led by a Lead Business Analyst who gathered requirements, produced specifications, managed testing and demonstrations, and managed the staged roll-out to the business. The effort formalized workflows formerly run in spreadsheets into a governed, enterprise workflow environment covering trade capture, risk reporting, compliance checks and investor services across the firm.
