In 2016, Forty Winks implemented MYOB Exo POS as its Point Of Sale platform across national operations. The rollout was coordinated from the Forty Winks national support office in Melbourne, which supports over 30 franchisees and 42 stores, with an implementation window managed from January 2016 to July 2016 by the National IT Training and Services coordinator.
Deployment activities centered on MYOB Exo POS configuration and store-level checkout workflow enablement, with parallel PC-Eftpos development to support card acquiring at point of sale. The program included creation and delivery of course materials, new software and system training, and development of support documentation for national head office, development partners and franchisees, reflecting traditional Point Of Sale functional workflows such as transaction processing and operator training.
The program also implemented ManageEngine Service Desk to centralize incident and service request handling for the POS environment, and involved ongoing management of external vendors to coordinate outstanding project milestones and support items. Procurement and research for required software and hardware were part of the deployment, and oversight of in-house ICT systems and strategy was maintained by the national coordinator.

Documentation and support processes were established to sustain the Point Of Sale operations and provide a single point of contact for franchise and store level support.
