Governance and rollout emphasized controls in General Ledger with definition of period types, accounting calendars, currencies, conversion rate types, ledgers including primary, secondary, and reporting ledgers, translation and revaluation processes, cross validation rules, and security rule assignments. The technical stack included FMW 12c, JDeveloper 12c, SQL, PL SQL and Java, and the project included testing of Oracle ERP Cloud bug fixes and quarterly patches as well as engagement with Oracle Support on application issues. Governance and delivery followed Agile SCRUM, with daily standup calls to coordinate offshore teams and weekly status calls for project stakeholders. Functional, technical and fit gap documentation was produced using BRD templates, change request calls informed design updates, and the team supported month end operational activities while maintaining coexistence with on premise ERP projects. | |
