Breedon Group | Construction and Real Estate | 4900 | $2.1B | United Kingdom | Pinpoint | Pinpoint Onboard | Onboarding | 2022 | n/a |
In 2022, Breedon Group implemented Pinpoint Onboard as its new applicant tracking and onboarding application following a comprehensive audit of the HR operating model. The initiative was driven through vendor selection, contract negotiation and a go-live program led by an interim HR Operations and Systems Consultant, and it was delivered as part of a broader HR operating model change to establish an HR shared services capability.
Pinpoint Onboard was configured to manage the end to end recruitment lifecycle, including requisition management, candidate tracking, interview management, offer management and onboarding workflows. The implementation emphasized application configuration aligned to recruitment and onboarding processes, and the full application name Pinpoint Onboard was used to unify requisition-to-joiner orchestration and standardize candidate data capture and stage gating.
A Pinpoint to i-Trent API integration was implemented to transfer candidate and onboarding records into i-Trent, and the program included parallel HR systems workstreams. The project led the implementation of the DLX Document Logistix module within i-Trent and the migration of two payrolls from Breedon’s Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland businesses into the i-Trent UK Payroll Team, extending operational coverage across HR, payroll and recruitment functions.
Governance and process changes accompanied the technical rollout, with the HR Transformation recommendations accepted and used to form an HRSS model, integrate payroll into HR and deploy new ATS and document management capability to the wider HR community. Contract renewal negotiations for a new five year i-Trent agreement were completed as part of the same program, consolidating system contracts and system governance for HR operations.
