In 2012, DC Bank implemented Profidata e-AMIS as its Portfolio and Investment Management system. Databases were successfully migrated and Profidata e-AMIS was put into operation at the beginning of 2012, establishing a secure operational basis for future expansion of the bank's asset management capability.
The deployment centered on core functional modules, specifically asset analysis, risk analysis, performance analysis, and client reporting, with portfolio holdings monitored for active and passive limit violations. DC Bank is currently using these core functions as the primary operational footprint of the Profidata e-AMIS implementation.
A planned second phase will add customer service process workflows and the automated creation of investment and regrouping suggestions, and will fully integrate the order workflow via a bidirectional interface into the IBIS3G core banking system at the HP banking service centre in Bern. Operational coverage is focused on the Deposito Cassa of the city of Bern and impacts front office advisory, portfolio operations, and client reporting processes.
Implementation governance included a staged rollout with a database migration cutover followed by incremental feature activation, and project leadership publicly endorsed Profidata e-AMIS as a modern, scalable solution. DC Bank and Profidata described the system as established and stable, capable of increasing the efficiency of operational procedures and enabling the bank to better implement investment decisions that require extensive client consulting.
