ABGAL Liners & Covers Manufacturing 70 $10M Australia Pronto Software Pronto XI Distribution Supply Chain Management 2007 n/a
In 2007, ABGAL Liners & Covers implemented Pronto XI Distribution as its Supply Chain Management solution. Prior to that ABGAL had used a proprietary ERP written for the company which began to struggle with the increasing volume and complexity of transactions, and the implementation was aligned to support a 26 person operational workforce across sales, office functions and manufacturing that also serves wholesale and trade channels. ABGAL deployed core Pronto Xi functionality including the Pronto Xi Manufacturing application and the Pronto Xi Sales Configurator, which handles roughly 80 percent of the companys bespoke production. The deployment also included CRM, accounts, fixed assets and inventory modules to provide an integrated operational ledger and material control system. The Pronto XI Distribution implementation emphasized configurator driven order capture and manufacturing registration so every product can be traced to its components and the staff who completed each manufacturing step. The implementation integrated Pronto XI Distribution with a set of third party tools to close operational loops, including a bidirectional Microsoft Excel forecasting workflow that extracts data from Pronto Xi and reimports forecasts for procurement planning. Document archiving and retrieval via RedMap is linked to Pronto Xi using Open Database Connectivity so work orders, diagrams and manufacturing data are immediately available for traceability. A freight management solution produces labels and consignment notes that are uploaded into Pronto Xi, linking consignment notes and freight costs to sales orders to preserve delivery and cost visibility. Operational governance was formalized to register every single manufacturing step in Pronto Xi, and ABGAL trained its 26 staff to use the system and its applications. The vendor provided in house consulting continuity which ABGAL cited as important in achieving operational adoption and ongoing support. ABGAL retained Pronto Xi servers in house and engaged a third party to perform regular maintenance and log reviews on a scheduled basis. Explicit outcomes reported include durable system stability, with no data loss reported over a ten year period, and real time EDI driven updates that reduce transactional errors and support faster deliveries. Pronto XI Distribution provided management visibility into inventory and turnover, enabling daily monitoring of profitability, while configurator and document linkage supported product traceability and quality assurance against customer specifications and industry standards.
Anitua Professional Services 1000 $300M Papua New Guinea Pronto Software Pronto XI Distribution Supply Chain Management 2022 n/a
In 2022 Anitua implemented Pronto XI Distribution as its Supply Chain Management platform across multiple business units and distribution sites in Papua New Guinea. The rollout included a formal Pronto XI Distribution go live for NCS Holdings PNG Mainland in November 2022, following an earlier NCS Lihir implementation in June 2021, and preceded by master data alignment for Pronto Retail used by Anitua Supermarket. The implementation emphasized inventory, supplier, and warehouse master data normalization, plus replenishment and scheduled purchasing capabilities consistent with Supply Chain Management best practices. Pronto XI Distribution was configured to support scheduled purchasing across three Distribution Centres in Port Moresby, Lae and Lihir Island, with replenishment protocols aligned to business plans and a shift to 45 day stock levels from prior 90+ day practices. Master data work was a central activity, with inventory, supplier and warehouse data cleansed and uploaded for day 1 use at each site, and a core team of three leading the Anitua Supply Chain implementation from Brisbane in 2020. Operational coverage extended to seven separate mainland sites under NCS Holdings and to NCS Lihir and Anitua Supermarket, impacting procurement, inventory management, warehouse operations and supplier management functions. Governance and process restructuring included standardizing inbound supply processes through a partnership with three core suppliers in Australia and New Zealand and a consolidated approach to goods supply into PNG. Reported outcomes tied directly to the Pronto XI Distribution implementation include a release of 10M AUD of working capital, a reduction in stock holding from more than 90 days to 45 days through scheduled purchasing, and a reported 10 percent reduction in total cost of ownership in the first year, with spend levels above 122M in 2021 and above 156M in 2022.
BCI Minerals Oil, Gas and Chemicals 200 $43M Australia Pronto Software Pronto XI Distribution Supply Chain Management 2021 n/a
In 2021, BCI Minerals deployed Pronto XI Distribution within its Supply Chain Management environment to support the fast-tracked Mardi Project, a greenfields salt mine 140km west of Karratha. The implementation was scoped to provision procurement, inventory and distribution processes for a newly established workforce and site operations. Pronto XI Distribution was upgraded and expanded to include core modules for Inventory Management, Maintenance and Payroll, consolidating transactional supply chain and operational asset workflows. The Pronto XI Distribution implementation included configuration of material receipts, stock control and maintenance planning aligned to standard Supply Chain Management functional workflows. Integrations were executed with the INX platform to handle Health and Safety, Mobilisation and Learning Management System capabilities, and with ActionHRM to synchronize HR and payroll processes. These integrations positioned Pronto XI Distribution as the transactional hub for personnel, inventory and asset records across HSE, mobilisation and HR systems. Governance and rollout were managed by a Senior Project Manager reporting to the General Manager ICT over the Jan 2021 to Oct 2023 engagement, overseeing staged adoption, user onboarding and system configuration for site operations and procurement functions. The program ensured seamless roll-out and adoption of the INX platform and the expanded Pronto ERP footprint for the Mardi Project workforce.
