Operational scope centered on the Credit Risk business function and associated data stewardship capabilities inside AXA Investment Managers, with the project workstream dedicated to UI parity, process rationalization and data quality controls. The team re-engineered implementation patterns to optimize process flows, improve data quality enforcement and address performance constraints, aligning the S&P Global Enterprise Data Management application with institutional CRM and investor relationship data needs. Technical governance emphasized CADIS configuration management, scripted Excel automations and SQL Server performance tuning as part of the rollout, preserving existing functional behaviors while consolidating data management processes. S&P Global Enterprise Data Management (ex IHS MarkitEDM) was the named platform for this CRM and Investor Relationship Management focused delivery, supporting Credit Risk operations through upgraded UI, metadata governance and backend optimization.

Governance and rollout emphasized testing and operational readiness, driven by a BA UAT consultant who elicited interface requirements, produced the solution testing strategy, developed test cases from Jira user stories, and managed a testing dashboard with T and O stakeholders. UAT validated trade blotter entry, life cycle events across asset classes, security and broker setup, position validation, compliance rule checks, and manager rebalancing workflows, while QA monitoring tracked defects, root cause analysis, and training of QA teams on Charles River trade lifecycles.

Governance artifacts included a defined data management post implementation support model and sign off criteria tied to regulatory test coverage and operational handover. The project was held up internally as a model project at Franklin Templeton, with explicit outcomes recorded as a reduction in source proliferation, standardized interfaces and substantial improvements in data timing and data quality for risk and reporting functions. These structural changes supported more consistent investor relationship and risk reporting across the firm.
