Bank Mega | Banking and Financial Services | 6320 | $530M | Indonesia | ION Investment Group | Spectrum Treasury | Treasury Management | 2017 | n/a |
In 2017, Bank Mega implemented Spectrum Treasury to centralize its Treasury Management activities. Spectrum Treasury was deployed to support front office deal capture, middle office risk and position keeping, and back office settlement and accounting workflows for the bank's treasury and finance functions, and the application name Spectrum Treasury is referenced directly in audit documentation.
Implementation architecture included an on premises data center paired with a disaster recovery center as documented in Bank Mega audits of data center and DR adequacy. The Spectrum Treasury deployment was integrated with the bank's core banking platform on AS400, the credit card system ASCEND, ATM switching elements and national clearing and RTGS interfaces to enable payment settlement and liquidity reconciliation, with operational coverage spanning branch offices, card business processes, treasury operations and settlement teams.
Governance and process controls were exercised through end to end IT SDLC auditing, change management and user acceptance testing controls to comply with Bank Indonesia, OJK, Sarbanes Oxley, PCI DSS and COBIT requirements. Audit findings from 2015 through 2018 cited control weaknesses that impacted the treasury environment, including reuse of UAT dummy databases and unauthorized parameter changes that bypassed SDLC procedures, evidence that prompted recommendations to tighten SDLC adherence, parameter change controls and reconciliation processes for Spectrum Treasury.

Brown Brothers Harriman | Banking and Financial Services | 6000 | $3.1B | United States | ION Investment Group | Spectrum Treasury | Treasury Management | 2010 | n/a |
In 2010, Brown Brothers Harriman licensed the Spectrum Treasury System from Financial Software Systems and implemented Spectrum Treasury to support its treasury and FX dealing operations. The Spectrum Treasury implementation sits in the Treasury Management category and targets front-to-back office Foreign Exchange workflows for Spot, Forward, Non-Deliverable Forward, Swap and Option contracts.
The deployment centers on the Spectrum PARQ module, delivering Pricing, Aggregation, Routing and Queuing capabilities to automate client quote aggregation, price discovery and order routing for FX instruments. The implementation also incorporates the Spectrum FX Dealing Portal, creating a client-facing straight-through-processing channel that captures FX orders and feeds them into BBH trading and settlement workflows.
Operational coverage explicitly spans BBH front office trading desks and back office trade processing, with the Spectrum FX Dealing Portal connecting global clients into the bank's execution chain. Integrations are focused on front-to-back office trade capture, trading workflow orchestration and downstream settlement interfaces inside BBH.
Governance and workflow changes emphasized centralization of pricing and routing logic in PARQ, configuration of client access and exception handling for non-STP trades, and establishing PARQ as the orchestration point for FX dealing and client order flows within Spectrum Treasury.

Commercial Bank of Kuwait | Banking and Financial Services | 900 | $100M | Kuwait | ION Investment Group | Spectrum Treasury | Treasury Management | 2004 | n/a |
In 2004 the Commercial Bank of Kuwait implemented the Spectrum Treasury System at its headquarters in Kuwait to centralize treasury operations. Spectrum Treasury is a Treasury Management application configured to manage all of CBK's trading activity in foreign exchange and interest rate instruments.
The implementation covered end to end processing of treasury transactions, including front-office deal capture, confirmations, payments and general ledger accounting in the back-office. CBK licensed Spectrum’s limits management module for middle-office credit risk management and Spectrum’s FX margin trading module to support collateralized foreign exchange trading.
Operational scope was concentrated on the bank's headquarters office and intended to replace a variety of vendor-provided and internal systems used across treasury, trading, risk and accounting functions. The deployment established centralized processing from deal capture through confirmations and accounting, aligning front-office trading workflows with middle-office limit enforcement and back-office settlement and ledger posting.
Governance and process changes focused on formalizing middle-office credit controls via the Spectrum limits management module and integrating margin mechanics and collateral workflows through the FX margin trading module. Configuration emphasis was on module-level controls and transaction processing across treasury, rather than on named external integrations.
