TBCASoft was deployed as a distributed ledger network with a layered system architecture, consisting of telecom carrier hosted servers running the TBCASoft blockchain platform. Functional capabilities implemented and demonstrated include cross-carrier top-ups, mobile wallet roaming, international remittances, IoT payment, secured clearing and settlement, and personal authentication, aligning with payments, billing and identity use cases for the Blockchain Platform category.
The project connected carriers' telecommunication backend systems, and proof of concept integration work showed Business Support System and Mobile App server integration with the TBCASoft blockchain platform.
