Al Dahra Manufacturing 5000 $1.0B United Arab Emirates SAP SAP Business Network Global Track and Trace Real-Time Transportation Visibility 2024 n/a In 2024, Al Dahra implemented SAP Business Network Global Track and Trace in the Real-Time Transportation Visibility category to centralize visibility for its global agribusiness logistics operations based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The initiative addressed the need to connect orders, suppliers, shipping partners, and shipment locations in a single operational view across offices and shipping facilities worldwide. The deployment integrated SAP Business Network Freight Collaboration, SAP Transportation Management, and SAP Business Network Global Track and Trace to form a logistics control tower. SAP Business Network Global Track and Trace and the freight collaboration capabilities were configured to provide a standardized user interface, automate daily operations such as transportation booking, invoicing, and dispute management, and accelerate tracking and tracing workflows for door-to-door visibility. Integration work included onboarding 19 carriers to SAP Business Network for Logistics, and linking carrier events and transport plans into the control tower so data and information are available to logistics teams immediately rather than being manually sourced. The implementation spans global shipping lanes and internal shipping facilities, enabling visibility into logistics costs and product profitability across the supply chain, and shifting cost insight from port-to-port to door-to-door views. SAP Services and Support assisted the rollout and Al Dahra focused on governance and user adoption to embed the platform into daily operations. The company is standardizing the digital processes established, continuing to integrate complementary SAP offerings, and using the unified platform to improve collaboration with logistics service providers, accelerate operational processes, and support future initiatives such as sourcing fertilizers and expanding supplier networks with an emphasis on sustainability.
