Aimco Apartment Homes Construction and Real Estate 620 $190M United States UKG UKG Workforce Central (ex Kronos Workforce Central) Workforce Management 2016 Cognizant In 2016, Aimco Apartment Homes deployed UKG Workforce Central (ex Kronos Workforce Central) Version 8.x as a cloud Workforce Management implementation, engaging Cognizant as the systems integrator for the Real Estate Management company that employs approximately 620 staff. The deployment targeted centralized time and attendance and distributed scheduling processes across property operations and corporate functions, positioning UKG Workforce Central as the primary Workforce Management platform for time capture and workforce administration. The implementation configured a comprehensive set of functional modules including Workforce Timekeeper, Workforce Scheduling, Workforce Leave, Workforce Mobility for tablet attestation, the Attestation Tool Kit ATK, Kronos TeleTime IP and Kronos InTouch Clocks for physical time capture, and Employee Self Service for employee-facing transactions. Configuration work emphasized role-based timekeeper workflows, schedule templates for shift-based property staff, leave request and approval routing, and mobile tablet attestation for on-site crews. Architecturally the solution was provisioned as a cloud WFC Version 8.x environment integrated directly with on-site Kronos TeleTime IP endpoints and InTouch clock devices to ensure reliable punch capture, while Workforce Mobility and Employee Self Service extended time entry and approvals to mobile and desktop endpoints. Operational scope covered property-level time collection and manager scheduling at site locations, with centralized timekeeper and payroll feeding points managed within the cloud tenancy. Governance and rollout were executed by Cognizant with centralized administration and defined role permissions for corporate HR, managers, and timekeepers, accompanied by phased configuration and user enablement across property operations. Implementation emphasis was placed on standardizing scheduling and leave workflows, enforcing attestation and time capture controls through ATK and tablet-based mobility, and establishing centralized monitoring for workforce compliance and operational consistency.
Asure Software Professional Services 621 $120M United States HRnext HRnext Workforce Management 2018 n/a In 2018, Asure Software completed purchase of HRnext's integrated HR source code and brought HRnext in-house as part of its HCM and Workforce Management platform in the United States. Prior to the acquisition Asure had been reselling HRnext, and the transaction transferred software ownership and development rights to Asure to embed the application into its product portfolio. The HRnext implementation was positioned as a core HR and Workforce Management component, aligned with standard category capabilities such as employee record management, time and attendance orchestration, scheduling and workforce planning, and employee self service. Configuration work focused on adapting HRnext to Asure product models used for small to mid market customers, maintaining integrated HR workflows and common data models across HCM and workforce modules. Integrations centered on Asure's existing HCM and time and labor modules, reflecting the press release statement that HRnext had been used as part of Asure's platform prior to the source code purchase. Operational coverage was concentrated in the United States and targeted HR and workforce operations teams within small to mid market accounts, enabling unified personnel and labor transaction processing across Asure systems. Governance shifted to in house ownership of the HRnext code base, allowing Asure to centralize product management, configuration controls, and roadmap decisions for the HR solution. The transfer enabled Asure to incorporate HRnext into its deployment and release processes for the broader HCM and Workforce Management platform without involvement of external resell arrangements.
