Prayon USA Manufacturing 300 $35M United States SAP SAP S/4 Hana - Inventory Management Inventory Management 2023 n/a In 2023 Prayon USA implemented SAP S/4 Hana - Inventory Management to centralize site inventory and purchasing workflows at its Augusta Plant, Augusta, GA. SAP S/4 Hana - Inventory Management was configured to address Inventory Management for Purchasing and Supply Chain business functions across plant operations. Configuration emphasis included SAP modules PP IM WM and PM, with implementation of inventory control, warehouse management processes, storeroom cycle counts, and integration points between production planning and plant maintenance data. Functional capabilities implemented include vendor master and contract management, purchase requisition to purchase order lifecycle, purchase agreement tracking, and maintenance of a third party contractor verification and training database. Operational scope covered the Augusta site Purchasing department and extended to Technical Services for CapEx and OpEx sourcing, MRO sourcing strategies, Human Resources for benefits negotiation workflows, Lab and Quality for contract laboratory testing, Supply Chain for raw materials and freight negotiations, and Accounting and Finance for accounts payable interactions. The deployment supported collaboration with Corporate Purchasing to harmonize sourcing practices and align plant level procurement with broader supply chain processes. Governance and process design focused on compliance controls and supplier qualification workflows to meet ISO VPP Food Safety CTPAT audit requirements, policy creation for purchasing and vendor management, and workflow controls for approvals, contract expiration monitoring, and training completion prior to vendor setup. The implementation is used to maintain accurate vendor and purchasing data in SAP, ensure timely purchase order execution, maintain contract listings and expirations, and support procurement activities that include evaluating quotes to obtain cost savings.
Red Diamond Consumer Packaged Goods 300 $80M United States ReposiTrak ReposiTrak Track & Trace Traceability Management 2015 n/a In 2015, Red Diamond implemented ReposiTrak Track & Trace as part of a company-wide effort to manage food safety and ingredient compliance across its coffee, tea and foodservice operations in the United States. The deployment supports Red Diamond’s requirement to share food safety documentation downstream with ROFDA wholesale and retail customers and to collect compliance documentation upstream from more than 170 suppliers, aligning the implementation with the Traceability Management category. The implementation leverages the ReposiTrak platform, which is composed of two systems, the Compliance Management system and ReposiTrak Track & Trace. ReposiTrak Track & Trace is used to identify the supply chain path of products for recall response, enabling backward chaining to sources and forward chaining to recipients in near real time. The Compliance Management capabilities receive, store and share documentation while providing dashboards and alerts for missing or expired documents, and Red Diamond is using these modules to manage product specifications, Country of Origin declarations and Certificates of Analysis. The platform is powered by Park City Group technology and is configured to operate across Red Diamond’s supplier base and its downstream ROFDA customers, enabling document exchange and visibility across trading partners. Red Diamond’s Quality Systems organization is driving the operational rollout, sharing documentation with wholesale and retail customers and requiring suppliers to upload insurance, audit and regulatory evidence. The implementation explicitly targets both low risk and high risk supplier profiles, with document requirements tailored by risk category. Governance and compliance controls are centered in quality and supply chain processes, with senior management accountability referenced under Food Safety Modernization Act responsibilities. Red Diamond’s Quality Systems Manager communicated the company intent to use ReposiTrak to ensure supplier adherence to insurance, audit and regulatory requirements and to manage brand risk. The implementation therefore combines Traceability Management workflows with compliance documentation governance to support end to end supply chain transparency.
