7-Eleven Australia Retail 9000 $1.7B Australia UKG UKG Workforce Central (ex Kronos Workforce Central) Workforce Management 2013 n/a In 2013, 7-Eleven Australia implemented UKG Workforce Central (ex Kronos Workforce Central) as its Workforce Management platform. The deployment established a corporate-grade timekeeping and scheduling backbone that supported retail stores and shared services, with operational coverage extending to both 7-Eleven Australia and an associated Starbucks operating context noted in project operations. The implementation of UKG Workforce Central emphasized configuration of core workforce modules, including Kronos payrules, pay codes, work rules, labor levels, adjustment rules, and schedule constructs to support multiple awards and enterprise bargaining agreements. The team designed and maintained Function Access Profiles, Display Profiles, Data Access Profiles, Genies, holiday rules, fixed rules, organisational map, organisational sets and job transfer sets, and executed upgrades across Kronos WFC v6 through an upgrade to version 8.1. Integration work centered on interface stabilization and enhancement, using Kronos Integration Manager WIM to upgrade and manage interfaces with payroll and HR systems, and to enable SQL based reporting and operational feeds. The architecture therefore combined WFC application instances with integration middleware and SQL reporting layers to deliver timekeeping, payroll feeds and management reporting for retail operations. Operational governance included daily operations, application maintenance and production troubleshooting, development of testing plans, and configuration governance to align payrules and schedules with awards and EBAs. Project coordination functioned as a liaison between vendor teams, IT, HR, Finance, Operations and Payroll to manage rollouts, configuration changes and ongoing support for the Workforce Management platform.
