The architecture therefore combined WFC application instances with integration middleware and SQL reporting layers to deliver timekeeping, payroll feeds and management reporting for retail operations. Operational governance included daily operations, application maintenance and production troubleshooting, development of testing plans, and configuration governance to align payrules and schedules with awards and EBAs. Project coordination functioned as a liaison between vendor teams, IT, HR, Finance, Operations and Payroll to manage rollouts, configuration changes and ongoing support for the Workforce Management platform.
