ABM Industries | Professional Services | 117000 | $8.4B | United States | Oracle | Oracle Hyperion | EPM | 2016 | n/a | In 2016, ABM Industries implemented Oracle Hyperion as its enterprise EPM platform. The Oracle Hyperion deployment was positioned to serve EPM functions across corporate finance and FP&A, centralizing planning and financial consolidation capabilities for the organization. The implementation of Oracle Hyperion focused on core EPM workflows such as budgeting and forecasting, management reporting, and financial consolidation and close orchestration. Oracle Hyperion was configured to support standardized chart of accounts alignment, multi-entity consolidations, driver-based planning inputs, and period-end reporting templates to support month-end and quarterly close cycles. Operationally the Oracle Hyperion environment was integrated into ABM’s broader finance tooling landscape where FP&A teams maintained planning models and reporting feeds. The deployment coexisted with Anaplan models used for detailed financial planning and with visualization tools such as Power BI for dashboarding and distribution of executive reporting, with data orchestration handled by finance and IT interfaces. Governance for Oracle Hyperion centered on FP&A ownership of business rules and models, with formal QA and IT coordination for testing and deployment. The system supported finance, accounting, FP&A, Enterprise Service Center functions, and senior management reporting workflows, with FP&A analysts acting as liaisons to ensure requirements, testing protocols, and deployment plans aligned with month-end close, annual budget, and quarterly forecasting processes.

ABM Industries | Professional Services | 117000 | $8.4B | United States | Oracle | Oracle Fusion Cloud Accounting Hub | ERP Financial | 2021 | n/a | In 2021, ABM Industries implemented Oracle Fusion Cloud Accounting Hub as a central financial hub within its Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM platform estate. The Oracle Fusion Cloud Accounting Hub was deployed as a cloud accounting staging and mapping layer to standardize accounting rules and transaction mappings across finance processes, aligning with ABM Industries ERP Financial objectives. The implementation was positioned to support enterprise reporting and to provide consistent ledgers for downstream record consolidation and statutory reporting. Configuration work focused on Record to Report and Procure to Pay workflows, including accounting rule configuration, journal construction, and master data management for chart of accounts and shared hierarchies. The program included formalization of master data governance, security controls, and development standards, and adopted agile and SDLC practices to manage iterative releases and configuration updates. The deployment emphasized availability of mapped financial data to support enterprise processing rather than point integrations only. Integrations were implemented with core Oracle HCM and Finance modules, and with surrounding workforce and operational systems that include Time and Attendance, Workforce Management, Enterprise Performance Management, Learning Management Systems, Payroll and third party benefits and VMS solutions as part of the end to end financial and HR data flow. Operational coverage was enterprise wide across Finance and HR domains, with responsibility for production support, service requests, and system escalations for the accounting hub and its integrated applications. Data availability, security, and reconciliation processes were explicitly structured to support multi team consumption of accounting outputs. Governance and program management included Change Control Board oversight, Architecture Review Board participation, cloud security protocol adherence, and centralized master data stewardship. The leadership role drove vendor evaluation and contract negotiation responsibilities, managed application operations budgets and forecasts, and instituted metrics and controls to monitor the effectiveness of the deployed Oracle Fusion Cloud Accounting Hub within ABM Industries ERP Financial operations.
