Department of Justice, Western Australia Government 7536 $1.2B Australia Flexi Time Planner FlexiTime Time and Attendance 2016 n/a In 2016, Department of Justice, Western Australia implemented FlexiTime, supplied by Flexi Time Planner, as its Time and Attendance application to standardize electronic timesheet and rostering capture. The deployment targeted the Department of Justice workforce including Attorney General and Corrective Services business units and aligned time capture with payroll operational requirements. FlexiTime configuration covered online timesheets, web self service timesheet entry, automated leave reversal workflows and rostering integration, with specific configuration work to support pay group and ABN adjustments for Corrective Services. The implementation included system configuration, patch testing and scripted user acceptance test plans to validate timesheet logic and leave reversal automation. The program involved data analysis and migration into the FlexiTime environment and integration with the organization s core HRMS Ascender Pay and the Oracle RDBMS, plus interfaces to existing web applications and integrated rostering systems used by payroll and workforce managers. The solution architecture emphasized secured database interfaces and transactional HR data flows to ensure consistency between Time and Attendance and payroll systems. Governance and operationalization were driven by internal HRIS administration practices, including UAT leadership, test lead activities for platform upgrades, system administration, security access control, helpdesk support and development of user manuals and training. Explicit operational changes delivered as part of the rollout included automation of leave reversal, redesigned recording and reconciliation of overpayments, and a revised payroll processing schedule following decommissioning of shared services, with internal administration active from February 2016 to April 2019.
