The SAP S/4 HANA Public Sector configuration work included bespoke setup of Funds Management and Grants Management Grantee Management, iteration of configuration through scenario testing, and preparation of design documentation and gap lists. Integration work configured FM and GM to exchange data with analytics and core financial and operational modules, specifically SAC, FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-AA, FI-BL, CO, PS, MM, SD, Ariba, and HR-SuccessFactors. This integration pattern supports central finance ledgers, procurement and supplier flows, project accounting and grant lifecycle processes, and analytics consumption across finance and grants administration functions. Governance followed the SAP Activate methodology, with staged Prepare phase activities including planning and conducting two sets of FM and GM workshops with key users, end to end scenario testing, documentation updates and validation sessions. Delivery coordination included participation of the emineo project manager and emineo SAP Public Sector architect, and the implementation team maintained iterative gap lists and validation checkpoints throughout the rollout. | |

Integrations were executed as specified, linking FM and GM to analytics and transactional modules including SAC, FI General Ledger FI GL, FI Accounts Payable FI AP, FI Accounts Receivable FI AR, FI Asset Accounting FI AA, FI Bank Ledger FI BL, Controlling CO, Project System PS, Materials Management MM, Sales and Distribution SD, Ariba procurement, and HR SuccessFactors. The program emphasized end to end scenario testing and E2E validation cycles with key users to validate integrations and grants related transaction flows, and workshops were conducted both in Geneva and remotely. Project governance followed SAP Activate methodology, led by the emineo project delivery team with oversight from an emineo SAP Public Sector Architect and project manager, and included staged workshops, gap list updates, and formal validation phases. The rollout was ongoing at the time of reporting and the project was scheduled to complete in December 2023. | |
