Carpet Court Australia | Retail | 1200 | $150M | Australia | Oracle | Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne | ERP Financial | 2018 | Fusion5 | In 2018, Carpet Court Australia upgraded to Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne as an ERP Financial implementation. The program addressed an environment that had been running JD Edwards version 9.0 on Windows Server 2008 across six year old hardware, with a user base that had grown from approximately 2.5 to 30 named users and performance and supportability limits that increased exposure to cyber risk. The implementation centered on core accounting and financial reporting capabilities within Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, extending explicit application coverage for insurance management and sales and marketing operations. The project included an upgrade to JD Edwards version 9.2 to enable mobility, agile reporting and form capabilities that the prior release did not support, and configuration work focused on modernized reporting and transactional workflows. Deployment work included a hardware and storage refresh, a review of data storage requirements and increases to processing capacity to resolve space and performance constraints. Fusion5 served as the system integrator for the upgrade, coordinating the version migration and infrastructure changes across Carpet Court Australia operations. Governance was driven by IT Manager Harry Erawan, with security, systems performance and risk management identified as the primary program priorities during rollout. The effort emphasized application hardening, improved platform stability and supportability as prerequisites for ongoing use of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne in Carpet Court Australia. | |
