City of Casey Government 825 $629M Australia nimbus Cloud nimbus Time2Work Workforce Management 2020 n/a In 2020 City of Casey implemented nimbus Time2Work as an enterprise Workforce Management platform to centralize timekeeping and scheduling for the municipal workforce. The deployment targeted leaves management, time and attendance, and rostering capabilities across City of Casey operations in Narre Warren, Victoria, aligning the nimbus Time2Work application with municipal HR and payroll touchpoints. Configuration work focused on standard Workforce Management functional modules, including time capture and approval workflows, leave management and entitlements, and roster build and publish processes. nimbus Time2Work was configured to support automated shift allocation, timesheet reconciliation, and roster variance tracking, with business rules adjusted to local award and council policy requirements. The implementation integrated with multiple existing systems using SFTP and federated access patterns, explicitly including SFTP integrations to OrgPlus and PageUp, and data synchronization efforts with TechOne, OneCouncil, MDM, Cust360, Genesys, and Snap Send Solve as part of wider customer data improvement work. Parallel program activity included payroll-related work such as iChris database conversion from SQL to Vision file format, migration of iChris to a vendor hosted SaaS model, and SSO and MFA implementation around Chris21, which established cross-system authentication and interfacing constraints for nimbus Time2Work. Program governance operated under Agile methodologies, with a Senior Business Analyst role coordinating configuration, integration sequencing, and data governance activities. The governance approach emphasized data quality and customer data improvement across TechOne and OneCouncil, and reorganized leave and rostering workflows to align operational teams with the new Workforce Management processes delivered by nimbus Time2Work.
