Centrica Utilities 22147 $26.8B United Kingdom SAP SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management Subscription and Recurring Billing 2018 n/a In 2018, Centrica implemented SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management to standardize Subscription and Recurring Billing across its portfolio. The SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management deployment was delivered as part of a multi million pound portfolio of change that included SAP S/4HANA utilities, Hybris commerce, marketing and billing components, ECC6, CRM, Ariba, IBP, Oracle CC&B and in-house developed technologies. The implementation focused on core subscription and recurring billing capabilities including subscription lifecycle management, convergent rating and charging, billing and invoicing orchestration, contract and account management, and revenue management workflows. Configuration emphasized convergent charging and billing document generation consistent with enterprise utility billing and commerce use cases, while leveraging SAP BRIM standard functional modules for recurring revenue scenarios. Integrations were implemented with SAP S/4HANA Utilities for financial and asset master synchronization, Hybris commerce and marketing for order capture and customer engagement, ECC6 and CRM for customer and master data alignment, Ariba and IBP for procurement and planning touch points, Oracle CC&B for parallel customer care and billing processes, and a range of in-house applications for bespoke metering and service orchestration. Operational coverage targeted billing operations, customer service, commerce and marketing teams, and finance functions to ensure end to end subscription billing flows across systems. Delivery governance was managed at the portfolio level, aligning cross functional stakeholders from IT, billing operations and commercial teams under a centralized change program. The rollout emphasized system-to-system orchestration, master data harmonization and staged integration points to minimize disruption to ongoing customer and billing processes.
