The solution was delivered as a full managed service with Symatrix hosting AEGON UK’s HCM system and associated database, and providing ongoing platform, database and application support. Symatrix supplied a quick start foundation of ready-made forms, process flows and reports which were tailored to AEGON UK requirements, enabling a faster configuration cycle while preserving the single integrated architecture. Governance for the rollout centered on managed service ownership of platform and application support, and process stabilization through standardized forms and process flows to embed new manager and employee level HR transactions. The implementation targeted a transformation of HR service capability by providing real-time information and transaction support to managers and employees, and aligning compensation and learning processes with core HR records.
