Hays | Professional Services | 10300 | $8.9B | United Kingdom | Oracle | Oracle WebCenter Content | Content Management,Document Management,Intelligent Document Processing | 2011 | n/a | In 2011 Hays deployed Oracle WebCenter Content as its enterprise content management platform to address Content Management,Document Management,Intelligent Document Processing requirements. The Lead Architect from Jan 2011 to May 2012 reported to the Systems Integration Director and led a 10 person development team, eight based in India, alongside a 70 person partner delivery team from Tata Consultancy Services to deliver the implementation under tight timelines and objectives. Oracle WebCenter Content was configured as a central content repository with document lifecycle controls, metadata modeling, search indexing, version control, and workflow automation to support document capture and processing. The project included implementation of reporting automation, a new request and defect logging portal, and internal application monitoring software, all delivered as integrated modules alongside the core content platform. The enterprise CMS integration extended to front office systems, including the core CRM BondAdapt V11, internally called OneTouch, to synchronize customer records and documents across hiring and client workflows. The deployment emphasized front office procurement and governance and incorporated guidance for social media tooling and digital channel content flows as part of the broader content services architecture. Governance responsibilities covered system stability, procurement of front office software and ongoing operational oversight by the systems integration function, with the Lead Architect accountable for delivery. The implementation produced explicit operational savings reported in excess of £150,000 through reporting automation and tooling, and Oracle WebCenter Content became the corporate repository for global content management. | |
