TD Bank Group Banking and Financial Services 102190 $38.8B Canada Fiserv Fiserv Clover Point Of Sale 2025 n/a In 2025, TD Bank Group entered a multi-year Strategic Managed Services program with Fiserv to deploy Fiserv Clover as its Point Of Sale platform for merchant services in Canada. The agreement includes a purchase of part of TD’s merchant processing business in Canada and a plan to migrate a portfolio of approximately 3,400 TD merchant relationships representing 30,000 merchant locations to Fiserv’s processing system and Clover. Deployment centers on Fiserv Clover hardware and SaaS solutions along with Fiserv merchant processing capabilities. Implemented functional modules emphasize Point Of Sale workflows, including payment acceptance, terminal management, transaction routing, back-office reporting, merchant account provisioning, and Clover business management features consistent with merchant acquiring and payments processing functions. TD Merchant Solutions will utilize Fiserv technology, integrating Clover with TD business banking solutions to provide end-to-end merchant services. Operational coverage is Canada, with Fiserv assuming processing responsibilities for the acquired accounts and managing the technical migration of terminals and transaction flows to Fiserv’s processing environment. Governance is structured through the Strategic Managed Services program, positioning Fiserv to deliver managed services for merchant operations, hardware provisioning and support, while TD retains client banking relationships. The transaction is expected to close later this year subject to customary closing conditions, and the agreement explicitly expands the footprint of the Clover platform and creates opportunities to scale Clover hardware and SaaS solutions across TD’s merchant base.
