Functional outcomes explicitly reported included a centralized general ledger with integrated job costing, a streamlined billing process, automation of previously manual processes, and more efficient equipment maintenance. Governance and rollout sequencing included a stated phase two that will implement Human Resources for the US, US Payroll, Taleo, Health and Safety Incident Management and mobile applications. Phase two governance and integration plans were defined to extend JD Edwards with Human Resources for the United States, US Payroll, Taleo, Health and Safety Incident Management, and mobile applications for field users. Mobile applications were planned to enable time entry, health and safety reporting, fleet management, preventative maintenance work orders and job cost updates, providing direct field-to-system transaction capture and reducing offline reconciliation. Project governance used a phased rollout approach, implementing financials, project costing and fleet first, followed by HR, payroll and safety in a subsequent wave.
