TIVIT led a SAP platform migration project that moved SAP workloads from HP-UX 11 with ServiceGuard to an IBM P780 environment running AIX 7.1 and PowerHA System Mirror 7.1.3, executed between February 2014 and October 2014. The implementation configured IBM Power Systems P780 hardware to host the SAP application stack, with AIX 7.1 tuned for SAP workloads and PowerHA System Mirror 7.1.3 providing platform-level clustering and automated failover for high availability. The IBM Power Systems environment was provisioned to support core Application Hosting and Computing Services capabilities, including system mirror clustering, OS-level stability, and SAP application instance provisioning. Workload integration focused on the SAP ERP landscape, preserving SAP application interfaces while relocating production application hosting onto the IBM Power Systems platform. The deployment supported core business functions driven by SAP, including finance, logistics and operational systems for Samarco S.A, consolidating the central SAP environment onto the new hosting platform. TIVIT provided project delivery and embedded specialist consulting during the February 2014 to October 2014 migration, covering cutover sequencing, platform stabilization and operational documentation. Governance centered on platform hardening and availability procedures consistent with Application Hosting and Computing Services operations, with runbooks and operational practices established to support Samarco IT after stabilization.
