Sprenger Health Care Systems Healthcare 2000 $250M United States UKG UKG NOVAtime Workforce Management Workforce Management 2019 n/a In 2019, Sprenger Health Care Systems implemented UKG NOVAtime Workforce Management. The deployment focused on operational time capture and shift scheduling as primary functions for clinical support operations in the dietary department. UKG NOVAtime Workforce Management was configured to support core workforce workflows including time and attendance tracking, shift scheduling, and manager self-service for roster changes. The system was used to schedule and manage more than 15 dietary staff, and to provide auditable time records that managers relied on for hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions. The implementation was integrated with the organization workflow for payroll and candidate intake, UKG NOVAtime Workforce Management feeding time data to Oracle for payroll reconciliation and aligning schedules with the hiring website used by Sprenger Health Care Systems. Inventory management, online ordering, and procurement for raw foods, disposables, chemicals, and event catering were maintained as departmental processes, with scheduling outputs from NOVAtime informing staffing needs for special events and sanitation training windows. Governance centered on departmental manager stewardship of schedules and sanitation training, with NOVAtime timekeeping used as a source of record for staffing and compliance activities in the dietary unit. Operational scope described in user notes shows the system supporting staffing, scheduling, and time reporting functions for the dietary function within Sprenger Health Care Systems, while procurement and inventory controls remained outside the Workforce Management application.
