Transportation | 22819 | $14.8B | Singapore | Ethereum Foundation | Ethereum Platform | Blockchain Platform | 2019 |
In 2019, Singapore Airlines implemented the Ethereum Platform as the core Blockchain Platform underpinning its KrisPay loyalty digital wallet initiative that later evolved into Kris+. The Ethereum Platform deployment was structured as a private Ethereum blockchain limited to merchants and partners, and it was intended to tokenize KrisFlyer miles to enable secure transactional flows between the airline and retail partners.
The implementation emphasized a digital wallet and tokenisation capability, replacing traditional mile records with cryptographic tokens and a transaction ledger to simplify reconciliation and accelerate settlements. The platform supported wallet-to-merchant payments, token issuance tied to KrisFlyer balances, and immutable transaction records that reduced layers of external verification and enabled faster settlement workflows.
Development was led by Singapore Airlines internal teams in partnership with KPMG, and the vendor technology is attributed to the Ethereum Foundation through the use of Ethereum platform primitives. Operational integration connected the Blockchain Platform to the KrisFlyer loyalty programme, boarding pass privilege constructs, and Singapore Stopover Holidays scenarios, while the initiative was incubated via KrisLab to prototype and iterate product features with merchant partners.
Change management included companywide engagement through meetings, presentations, internal communications and staff incentives, and the project followed an MVP mindset with agile development cycles. Kris+ launched in a six month build phase, recorded about 20,000 downloads in its first three months, was cited for improved security through tokenisation, opened new customer segments beyond frequent flyers, and was recognized in the Computer Weekly Innovation Awards APAC transportation category.

Utilities | 1600 | $1.0B | Australia | Ivalua Inc | Ivalua Source to Contract | Sourcing | 2023 |
In 2023 South Australian Water Corporation implemented Ivalua Source to Contract. The Sourcing deployment brought core Source to Contract operations onto Ivalua's cloud platform and is being rolled out in a phased approach through to June 2024.
The implementation includes Ivalua’s supplier risk and performance, sourcing and contract management modules, configured to centralize sourcing workflows, contract lifecycle management and supplier performance monitoring. SA Water and KPMG targeted automation across sourcing and contract management operations to increase visibility of supply chain activity, support compliance with complex regulatory requirements and government reporting, and accelerate process cycle times.
The project covers procurement and supply chain functions across SA Water, which manages more than 800 million of spend on goods, services and capital works and operates over 14 billion of assets with a workforce of roughly 1,500 employees. KPMG served as the implementation partner, enabling configuration, testing and phased rollout activities on the cloud based Ivalua Source to Contract platform.
Governance changes emphasized supplier collaboration and a streamlined supplier experience, with process rework aimed at approvals, supplier onboarding and performance governance. The go live delivered increased visibility and efficiency of Source to Contract activities and a streamlined and functional experience for suppliers, and deployment was reported as on time due to close collaboration between SA Water, KPMG and Ivalua.

Consumer Packaged Goods | 3000 | $290M | Vietnam | Microsoft | Microsoft OneDrive | Content Management | 2022 |
In 2022, SSI Securities Corporation deployed Microsoft OneDrive as its Content Management solution as part of a wider Microsoft 365 and Azure foundation established beginning in 2019. The OneDrive implementation sits alongside SharePoint and Teams, supporting approximately 1,500 active Microsoft 365 users across multiple cities and enabling the firm to sustain a rapid transition to remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Microsoft OneDrive was configured to provide enterprise file sync and sharing, centralized document storage, and user-level access controls, integrated into the firm’s collaboration workflows with Teams and SharePoint for document co-authoring and distribution. The implementation emphasized familiar end-user experiences and gradual change management, aligning OneDrive document libraries with departmental filing and knowledge management practices to standardize how transactional and customer-facing records are stored and shared.
Operationally, OneDrive functions as the Content Management layer within SSI’s Microsoft stack, interfacing with Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Power BI workflows that aggregate customer transactions and profiles. KPMG supported SSI’s broader Microsoft program, including CRM configuration, and the OneDrive deployment was coordinated to feed the consolidated data estate managed on Azure and surfaced to business users through Power BI and Dynamics 365 driven processes. Security controls were implemented using Microsoft 365 Defender capabilities and multi-tier internal access controls, restricting high-level document access to designated networks.
Governance centered on staged rollout and role-based access, with IT leadership instituting four levels of internal censorship and incremental user adoption to minimize disruption. The Content Management deployment with Microsoft OneDrive supported improved employee productivity, continuity of trading and customer service operations during remote work, and contributed to the company’s stated outcomes of increased sales and improved customer experience.
