In 2015, Kirklands implemented Infor Nexus Procure-to-Pay Automation. The implementation leveraged Infor Nexus Procure-to-Pay Automation to standardize procure to pay workflows, combining order management and visibility with electronic procurement orchestration. Configurations focused on purchase order orchestration, vendor invoice handling, and visibility modules to align procurement and fulfillment processes within a single platform.
Integrations centered on GT/Nexus order management capabilities and operational connectivity enabled by the Allport Cargo Services engagement. Operational coverage spanned procurement, order management, and distribution operations as the retailer expanded its fulfillment topology from one distribution center to multiple fulfillment nodes.
Governance and rollout were managed with a designated Lead Business Analyst and Project Manager, establishing centralized visibility governance and revised order and procurement workflows. The program included process redefinition for order routing, exception handling, and supplier invoice workflows to support multi node fulfillment.
The project produced a direct transformation of the companys fulfillment architecture from a single distribution center to a multi node network and delivered improved order visibility through the Infor Nexus Procure-to-Pay Automation deployment in the Procure to Pay category.
