Blue Wing Honda, a Caspex Corporation Company | Distribution | 30 | $3M | New Zealand | Infor | Infor M3 | Manufacturing ERP | 2012 |
In 2012 Caspex Corporation, including Blue Wing Honda, implemented Infor M3 Version 10 as its Manufacturing ERP across the group. The rollout covered Caspex divisions including Blue Wing Honda, Honda Power & Marine, Intek Security and Fyran Marine and targeted the group functions of importation, manufacturing, warehousing, sales and distribution.
Infor M3 was configured to centralise core Manufacturing ERP capabilities such as inventory management, production planning, warehouse management, sales order management and procurement, with financial and distribution workflows standardized on a common instance. Deployment followed a phased cross division rollout executed with ComActivity over a two year engagement, focusing on version 10 configuration, testing and staged cutovers to align operational processes.
ComActivity acted as the implementation partner coordinating configuration, cutover planning and governance changes to centralise data models and standardize transactional workflows across business units. The program is described as delivering a more centralised and therefore productive system across all organisations within Caspex.

GWA Group | Retail | 600 | $271M | Australia | Infor | Infor M3 | Manufacturing ERP | 2019 |
In 2019, GWA Group implemented Infor M3 as its Manufacturing ERP, with ComActivity engaged as the implementation partner for Caroma Industries in Sydney NSW. The deployment established Infor M3 as the transactional backbone for order capture and customer service across GWA Group business units supporting product documentation and quality workflows.
The Infor M3 implementation focused on operational modules aligned to order management and customer service, and extended to product documentation and quality checks that supported downstream delivery processes. Infor M3 was used daily by Customer Service teams for processing orders and handling escalations, and the platform’s transactional workflows were adapted to support knowledge article updates and product master data management.
The implementation environment integrated Infor M3 with existing communication and identity systems, using IBM Lotus Notes for order intake workflows alongside Infor M3 platform processes, and interfacing with Active Directory, Office 365, and MS Exchange for user authentication and corporate communications. These integrations supported continuity of phone and email based customer interactions while centralizing transactional records in Infor M3.
Governance and operational rollout were organized around agile delivery practices, with participation in scrum and sprint meetings, internal and external demos, and reviews. Operational governance extended to audit readiness and quality conformity, with team-level knowledge management and an offshore team lead coordinating a five person offshore support group.
Operational outcomes noted in user-level documentation include improved procedural adherence and staff recognition, with customer service staff achieving on-the-spot and best performer awards while using Infor M3 to resolve escalations and meet customer requirements.

Mildura Fruit Juice Australia | Distribution | 1037 | $380M | Australia | Infor | Infor M3 | Manufacturing ERP | 2018 |
In 2018 Mildura Fruit Juice Australia implemented Infor M3, consolidating its deployment into the core Manassen instance on M3 version 10.1, and establishing a standardized Manufacturing ERP environment. The move integrated a separate prior Movex V12.4 instance into the parent company landscape, addressing a fragmented upgrade path and the increased system administration burden caused by earlier customizations.
The Infor M3 rollout focused on standard configuration of Manufacturing ERP capabilities to support manufacturing, inventory and order management workflows, with category-aligned process standardization replacing bespoke application screens. Previous screen-level modifications were substituted with controlled document output changes, reducing the need for code-level customization and easing ongoing administration.
Operationally the implementation merged MFJA into Manassen’s centralised administration model, bringing the Mildura Fruit Juice Australia business unit onto a shared M3 tenancy and governance framework. A dedicated internal business team worked in conjunction with ComActivity consultants to coordinate cutover activities and configuration harmonization across the consolidated instance.
Go-live was executed as a controlled startup over a weekend, after which it was business as usual on Monday morning, delivering a relatively seamless live transition according to the project team. The consolidation into a standardised environment and removal of screen modifications are documented changes to reduce system administration complexity and align document processing with the parent company instance.
