AXA MPS Financial Banking and Financial Services 64 $148M Ireland SAP SAP BusinessObjects Analytics and BI 2016
In 2016, AXA MPS Financial implemented SAP BusinessObjects to create a centralized Analytics and BI capability supporting management reporting and regulatory reporting for its financial operations. The engagement established SAP BusinessObjects as the enterprise reporting layer for the company and focused on structured report delivery and self service analysis across finance functions. The implementation used SAP Business Object XI R3 as the BI platform, configured to provide server side scheduling, ad hoc Web Intelligence reporting, and multi format report distribution. Oracle Data Integrator 10 was used as the ETL and data movement engine, SQL was the query and transformation language in reporting layers, and Erwin Data Modeler governed the logical and physical reporting schemas. Hewlett Packard Enterprise provided the implementation and infrastructure footprint, with SAP BusinessObjects deployed on HPE server infrastructure in an on premise topology. Governance emphasized data modeling standards driven by Erwin, role based access to BI content, and scheduled report distribution to finance and risk teams, aligning operational workflows to the new Analytics and BI platform.
AXA MPS Financial Banking and Financial Services 64 $148M Ireland Oracle Oracle Data Integrator Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) 2016
In 2016 AXA MPS Financial implemented Oracle Data Integrator to establish an Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) layer. Oracle Data Integrator 10 was provisioned as the primary data integration engine to centralize extract, transform, and load workflows supporting reporting, finance, and data warehousing functions. AXA MPS Financial implemented Oracle Data Integrator, an Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) platform, to centralize data integration for reporting and finance. The deployment configured Oracle Data Integrator 10 artifacts including declarative data mappings, reusable knowledge modules, and transformation workflows to support set based and SQL driven transformations. SQL served as the transformation language for custom business rules, while Erwin Data Modeler was used to define logical and physical models that drove ETL design. Runtime orchestration leveraged ODI agents to schedule batch windows and manage job dependencies. Integrations explicitly included SAP Business Object XI R3 for downstream reporting and SQL databases as sources and targets, with Erwin maintained models aligning ETL outputs to reporting semantic layers. Hewlett Packard Enterprise acted as the system integrator, responsible for installation, environment provisioning, and operational handover. The implementation concentrated on feeding governed data into the SAP Business Object XI R3 reporting stack. Governance and operational controls established version control for mappings, ODI repository based metadata management, and change management processes coordinated between BI and finance stakeholders. Ongoing operational support and scheduled operations were handled jointly by Hewlett Packard Enterprise and internal BI teams.
Bank of Baroda Banking and Financial Services 75008 $8.4B India Oracle Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial 2011
In 2011 Bank of Baroda implemented Oracle E-Business Suite as its core ERP Financial platform, initiating a program to adopt more modern business processes and technology across the institution. The bank, the sixth largest in India, positioned the Oracle E-Business Suite deployment to centralize finance, customer relationship, and human resources processing while improving process standardization and productivity. The implementation emphasized Oracle E-Business Suite modules including General Ledger, CRM and HRMS, and incorporated HRMS-specific subcomponents referenced in project artifacts such as EPMS, AP/AR payroll interfacing and an Appraisals System. Configuration work focused on core financial control and accounting flows within General Ledger, customer lifecycle workflows in CRM, and automated appraisal and performance workflows within HRMS, aligning application configuration with established banking process requirements. The project was executed on site at Bank of Baroda locations including Vadodara, Gujarat, and the deployment model reflected enterprise application provisioning for banking business functions rather than a point solution. Oracle E-Business Suite served as the transactional and recordkeeping backbone for finance, customer service, and HR departments, enabling integrated operational coverage across those business functions. Hewlett Packard Enterprise acted as the systems integrator for the program, and on-the-ground delivery included senior applications technical consulting and technical lead support provided by Oratalents Solutions and Services in partnership with HP. Governance emphasized configuration controls, on-site technical leadership, and process alignment workshops to embed standard ERP Financial workflows into Bank of Baroda operations.
