In 2015, Zoetis implemented Workday Time and Attendance as part of a broader Workday HCM deployment at its Florham, NJ facility. Integ Consulting served as the Workday HRIS consultant on the engagement and carried responsibility for configuration, technical requirements gathering, data conversion, and ongoing application support from August 2015 to September 2018.
The implementation covered multiple Workday modules including Workday HCM, Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence, and Payroll, with specific configuration work on Workday Time and Attendance to support time capture, absence management, and manager-facing time approvals. The project team created role based reports and complex calculated fields, developed job aides and training documentation for end users, and prepared iLoad files and EIB packages for bulk data conversion and attribute updates.
Integration work was a central signal in the rollout, the team developed outbound integrations to send time off corrections from Workday to the ADP payroll system and designed additional interfaces to synchronize Workday HR with the recruiting system. Enterprise Interface Builder EIB and iLoad were used to integrate employee location, performance ratings, organization assignments, and payroll identifiers, and the engagement included building payroll interfaces to support downstream payroll processing. The deployment impacted HR, payroll, recruiting, and people managers as primary business functions.
Project governance included documented user acceptance testing plans with formal signoffs, user story development with acceptance criteria and prototypes, and iterative delivery supported by a product owner and Scrum practices. The consultant team performed technical feasibility analysis, sizing and estimation for design solutions, supported end to end solution and architecture discussions, and provided day to day support for Workday HCM, Compensation, Time and Attendance and reporting issues.

In 2015, Zoetis implemented Workday Compensation as part of a broader Workday HCM rollout, establishing a Compensation Management capability for HR and payroll processes. The implementation at the Florham, New Jersey site was supported by Integ Consulting acting as Workday HRIS consultant and covered configuration and ongoing support for Workday Compensation, Workday HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, and Payroll modules.
Workday Compensation was configured with standard compensation management components including configurable compensation plans, calculated fields and complex custom reports, approval workflows for merit and bonus cycles, and manager self service reporting to provide managers with information to make HR decisions. The project team created training documentation and job aides, documented user stories with acceptance criteria and prototypes, and supported end users through day to day support and User Acceptance Testing.
Technical integration work included designing and developing outbound integrations to send time off corrections from Workday to the ADP payroll system, building integrations between Workday HR and the recruiting system, and extensive use of Enterprise Interface Builder and iLoad for data conversion. Data conversion and mapping efforts imported assets, composite assets, customer invoices and bank account data from an Oracle source into Workday, and EIB feeds were used to integrate employee location data, performance ratings, organization assignments and payroll identifiers.
Governance and delivery followed agile practices, with the product owner authoring user stories, the Scrum Master managing iterations and team velocity, and the team preparing UAT plans and obtaining business unit signoffs. Integration consulting supported configuration and testing of integrations and the project included solution and architecture discussions to size design solutions, produce technical feasibility assessments, and document development and testing notes for ongoing operational support.
