Technical workstreams included Oracle Forms development, custom.pll changes, forms personalization, PL SQL and SQL tuning, XMLP report templates, and shell scripting. Interfaces were built to create and update sales orders and to validate and load supplier master data using the Suppliers Import standard, and to ingest historical data from earlier systems. Shell scripts were used to install custom objects into UAT and production instances and were registered as host programs for automated deployments. Sonata Software served as the system integrator for the Jan 2012 to Apr 2012 rollout, and delivery emphasized workflow customization and new custom workflow builds alongside standard workflow adjustments. Operational scope focused on finance, procurement and order management functions within Express Publications, with governance centered on application level configuration controls, deployment scripting and report and interface validation during UAT and production cutover. | |
