The BAU team handled application operations, production patching and coordination of the PeopleTools upgrade, preserving integration links between human resources, payroll and learning management workflows.
Governance changes centered on formalizing patch bundling and migration procedures and onboarding technical and business staff to PUM-driven update philosophies. Performance monitoring was institutionalized through PPM, and change control for application and platform updates was tightened to support ongoing development while maintaining production stability.

The guidance noted customers may continue to use existing Riskline/DFAT data but that data might be outdated, creating a governance requirement to transition to the Riskline setting.
Operationally the SAP Concur Travel rollout affected the departmentwide corporate travel function and required updates to travel governance and policy workflows to align with the new referential security posture. The implementation consolidated travel booking and risk management processes under SAP Concur Travel, and the department enforced a change-management path to update the Risk Referential configuration across affected business units.
The explicit outcome tied to the change was improved security for SAP Concur customers, as documented by SAP Concur guidance on deprecating the Riskline/DFAT option. SAP Concur Travel remains the named application for agency Travel Management, with the security-driven shift to the Riskline referential identified as a required post-implementation action.
