In 2019, Beckhoff Automation implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as its ERP Financial platform. The rollout centralized core financial processes into a single Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations instance intended to connect 40 global subsidiaries including the Chinese legal entity, aligning international accounting with statutory compliance requirements.
The implementation included legal entity configuration in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations to address Chinese statutory requirements, with a particular emphasis on Golden Tax compliance that influenced solution architecture and invoice handling workflows. Arineo performed a detailed fit gap analysis and helped translate parent company requirements into local configuration, while a local D365 FO finance expert supported chart of accounts design, tax posting logic, and statutory reporting configuration.
Operational integration focused on connecting the central Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations instance across Beckhoff’s subsidiary network to ensure consolidated financial processes and data flows. Technical complexity centered on tax treatment and localized posting rules, requiring targeted architecture adjustments to accommodate Chinese Golden Tax invoicing and statutory controls.
Arineo acted as the implementation partner in China, providing native speaker support, intercultural mediation, fit gap workshops, and user training. Governance and rollout practices combined joint project management between Beckhoff’s European and Chinese teams, staged user training, and coordinated go live activities under pandemic constraints with limited face to face meetings.
The project was commissioned on time and the Chinese subsidiary workforce accepted the new ERP, outcomes attributed to the configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations, compliance mapping for Golden Tax, and Arineo’s local expertise. Beckhoff Automation Finance gained a centralized ERP Financial instance to standardize accounting and statutory compliance across its international entities.
