In 2024, Electricity Supply Board implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as its Core HR application for enterprise HR master data and personnel administration. The deployment targeted ESB’s 9,600 employee population in Ireland and established SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central as the central system for core HR records and organizational management.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP Concur Travel | Travel Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Electricity Supply Board implemented SAP Concur Travel as part of a broader S/4HANA upgrade to address Travel Management and T&E business functions. The SAP Concur Travel implementation was embedded into an S/4HANA program that also covered HCM, OTC, PTP and Finance functional streams, aligning travel expense workflows with employee replication and cost object assignment requirements.
Configuration and extension work focused on WRICEF and WRIFECS development, unit testing and CHaRM controlled transports to ensure S/4HANA compatibility. Developers built S/4HANA compliant adapters to support engineer calendar and absence updates, engineered automated WBS creation via BADI, and implemented workflow driven Sales and Invoicing and Billing enhancements to connect travel charge capture into financial postings.
Integrations were explicit and system level, SAP Concur Travel interfaced with SuccessFactors for employee profile and performance data while employee and cost object replication and T&E payloads were handled using BADI implementations and PO web services. Financial migration and posting continuity used extended IDoc patterns including BD18 and BD24 for GL account and FI document flows to ISU, with LTMOM and LTMC used in proof of concept staging, reconciliation programs and staging tables to validate migrated data.
Operational governance included SPAU and SPDD activity for upgrade compatibility, SOLMAN documentation and handover packs for BAU teams, and participation in FUT and SIT cycles to resolve defects alongside OTC, HCM and PTP functional teams. Development tooling included Eclipse IDE and Fiori Launchpad SAPUI5 app work to support end user interactions, and post go live support artifacts were produced to sustain T&E and Travel Management operations.
