Governance and operational change accompanied the technical rollout, with Encova using the Guidewire platform to create standardized underwriting and servicing processes and to enable agent and policyholder self-service for billing and policy servicing. The BillingCenter implementation contributed to Encovas stated objectives of improving agent responsiveness and providing real-time, device-agnostic access to policy and billing information while maintaining Guidewire as the long-term technology backbone for its commercial lines business.
