In 2020 Surbana Jurong implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform to centralize finance and project accounting capabilities across its operations. The deployment targeted the finance organization with a focus on project accounting, reflecting the companys professional services model and the job requisition for a Business Analyst Finance ERP based in Singapore.
The implementation encompassed core SAP S/4 HANA modules and configurations, explicitly including Financial Accounting FI, Controlling CO, Project System PS, Sales and Distribution SD, and Materials Management MM. Functional scope covered general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost controlling and project accounting workflows, with business analyst responsibilities to review and streamline processes, configure solution components and support change request design and validation.
Integration work centered on service delivery of the new ERP system and related sub systems, including integration points with finance systems and other business systems and the shared services center. Operational coverage included support for Singapore based teams and coordination across multiple businesses and time zones, with the Business Analyst role acting as a key contact for vendors and business users during requirements evaluation and integration planning.
Governance and rollout controls emphasized structured change request management and operational support, with activities spanning requirements gathering, business process discussions, detailed analysis, solution design, development and configuration, testing, documentation and deployment. Post go live responsibilities included end user troubleshooting, issue resolution and progress communication, and validating change request design for quality, reliability and maintainability.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2021 |
In 2020, Surbana Jurong implemented Workday Absence Management to handle Absence and Leave Management across the enterprise. From October 2021 the Global Technology & People Analytics team assumed operational ownership for Workday and related HR systems, providing centralised system management across more than 40 countries worldwide.
Workday Absence Management was configured and maintained to align absence plans, approval workflows, and statutory leave rules with company policies, with the Workday Absence Module Lead responsible for delivering configuration changes and reviewing vendor releases. Regular release review and impact assessment were part of the operating rhythm, and enhancements were communicated to HR stakeholders with managed rollouts to preserve existing functionality.
Operational integration and support were delivered alongside other HR systems, including SAP S4 Hana, SAP ECC, FMS and EBS, with the TPA team handling troubleshooting, configuration fixes, and change requests for Workday. Support structure included formal ticket triage, defined ticket categorization and support levels for Level 1 and Level 2, a Lead for Level 1 support, and training and documentation for the GSS Helpdesk to improve routing accuracy.
Governance and process changes emphasised standard operating procedures for ticket handling, weekly reporting on ERP helpdesk status to the TPA team, and empowerment of HR and GSS HR teams through self-service capabilities on connected systems. As an explicit outcome from these operational practices, ticket volume was reduced by enabling self-service and clarifying SOPs, while ongoing maintenance and release management continued to ensure the absence configuration remained compliant with company and statutory requirements.

| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft 365 | Collaboration | Collaboration | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Surbana Jurong implemented Microsoft 365 as its corporate Collaboration platform. Microsoft 365 is observable on their website and provides hosted email, browser-based productivity apps, document co-authoring, and cloud file storage to support collaboration workflows across the organization. The deployment serves Surbana Jurong's professional services operations and project delivery teams, covering the company’s workforce of approximately 16,000 employees.
Configuration was centered on a cloud-hosted Microsoft 365 tenancy delivering unified identity and access, mailbox and calendaring services, team collaboration spaces, and centralized document management for project documentation and design assets. Functionality aligns with the Collaboration category, enabling real-time co-authoring, shared team sites and intranet content, and template-based libraries to standardize document lifecycle and project handovers. Automation of routine collaboration processes and policy-driven content controls were applied to enforce consistency across project teams.
Operational governance emphasizes tenant level policy configuration, information architecture, and role based access to segregate corporate and project data, with administration and provisioning managed by enterprise IT and program delivery stakeholders. Integrations include platform-native web content publishing flows that surface managed content on the corporate website, reflected by Microsoft 365 artifacts visible on surbanajurong.com. The implementation frames Microsoft 365 as the primary Collaboration platform for enterprise productivity, content publishing and project collaboration within Surbana Jurong.
