Oracle Legacy Oracle AI Data Platform AI Model Deployment and Monitoring, AI Workflow Automation AI Development Vertice 2025 2025
In 2025, University College Dublin in Ireland deployed Oracle AI Data Platform as its AI Model Deployment and Monitoring,AI Workflow Automation solution. The initiative was scoped to the university s central IT organization and to research computing and administrative analytics teams across campus, aligning the platform with enterprise AI use cases and data science activity at UCD. Oracle AI Data Platform was configured to provide core model lifecycle capabilities, including a centralized model registry, production deployment pipelines, runtime monitoring and observability, automated drift detection, and orchestrated retraining workflows. The implementation emphasized AI workflow automation for scheduled pipeline execution, approval gating for model promotion, and environment separation between development and production to enforce repeatable MLOps processes. Operational coverage targeted research projects, student services analytics, admissions and enrollment intelligence, and administrative reporting, enabling teams to publish and operationalize models used by those business functions. Vertice served as the systems integrator for the deployment, leading configuration, environment provisioning and the initial rollout coordination with UCD stakeholders. Governance was established through model governance policies, access controls, audit logging and defined approval workflows to support responsible AI operations across units. Vertice worked with UCD to stage the rollout, beginning with pilots in research groups and expanding controls and automation for broader administrative adoption, while maintaining the Oracle AI Data Platform as the referenced platform for AI model deployment and automation.
