Operational scope included leading payroll operations for over 4,000 employees with a combined annual payroll cost of $250M, processing payroll on weekly, biweekly and monthly cadences. The program provided HCM support to more than 20 field payroll, HR and workforce management users, incorporated multistate tax and payroll processing knowledge, and integrated all new acquisitions into existing Central platforms.
Governance and rollout were led through directed project management activities with stakeholders across HR, IT, Finance and Legal, including managed HR and payroll project team meetings to coordinate work plans and expedite deliverables. Change management included delivering system deployment and functionality knowledge to business users through formal and informal training sessions, and ongoing review of processes to define requirements and execute recommended solutions.
Reporting and specific program outcomes were included in the operational scope, with development and maintenance of timely monthly headcount reporting including turnover and cost information. The team also implemented an outsourced FAVR auto allowance reimbursement program for 300 drivers, delivering stated benefits of substantial cost savings, improved control and visibility for mileage related expenses, and tax free reimbursement for employees.
