In 2004 Bank of the West deployed CGI Strata Enterprise as part of a Business Process Management initiative to manage consumer collections across its retail banking footprint. The rollout targeted consumer collections operations in the Western and Midwestern United States and the suite was fully deployed in January 2005.
The implementation used CGI-AMS's collections solution suite, with CGI Strata Enterprise configured to support collections workflow orchestration, account level case management, and collector worklists typical of Business Process Management systems. Configuration work focused on automating routine collection tasks and standardizing collector workflows to align with bank operational processes.
Cgi-Ams and CGI Group provided implementation services and support during the rollout, delivering an enterprise oriented deployment across multiple regional sites. Operational coverage included consumer collections teams and supporting operations, with the system supporting more than 200 bank professionals in day to day collections activity.

In 2004 Santander Bank Polska implemented CGI Strata Enterprise as a scoring and decisioning engine for credit originations. The deployment used CGI Strata Enterprise within the Business Process Management category to automate decision workflows for retail lending products.
The implementation focused on scoring and decisioning functional modules, including automated credit decisioning logic for cash loans and overdrafts, scoring classifiers and decision workflow orchestration consistent with a Business Process Management approach. Configuration emphasized product-specific rules and decision tables to support rapid credit adjudication and consistent rule execution.
CGI professionals led the implementation and integrated the solution into the bank’s credit origination processes and operational procedures, with the system officially launched to process its first credit applications in January 2005. Operational coverage targeted the bank’s credit origination and operations teams in Poland, supporting end-to-end decisioning from application intake through automated approve refer decline flows.

In 2007, The DIRECTV Group Inc engaged CGI Group to implement CGI Strata Enterprise, a Business Process Management application. The engagement combined CGI’s CACS Enterprise collections solution with the Strata Enterprise decision engine, and CGI completed the implementation and agreed to host and maintain the solution in April 2008.
CGI Strata Enterprise was configured to centralize collections decisioning and to operationalize automated collections workflows, using the Strata Enterprise decision engine to drive rule-based account prioritization and collections strategies. The implementation focused on collections functional capabilities, consolidating decision logic and orchestration within the Business Process Management platform to standardize collections processing and case handling.
CGI acted as the system integrator and ongoing hosting and maintenance provider, taking on day-to-day operations and service ownership for the deployed solution. This governance model shifted operational responsibility to CGI, the SI, and improved DIRECTV's collections capabilities while enabling DIRECTV to focus on core business objectives.
