The GovTech Singapore Government Tech Stack (SGTS) uses a two layer architecture, with a Base Layer that standardizes development tools and environments, and a Services Layer that drives code reuse across agencies. Functional capabilities emphasized in the platform include developer focused tooling, continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, automated testing and build automation, observability and auditability features, API exposure for services, and artifact and repository management to support reuse. SGTS products are explicitly built to drive automation and to bake compliance and security by design into developer workflows.
Operationally SGTS connects development toolchains to cloud deployment infrastructure to simplify provisioning and reduce per agency infrastructure duplication.
