Civmec | Construction and Real Estate | 3000 | $540M | Australia | INX Software | INX InControl | Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) | 2019 | n/a |
In 2019 Civmec deployed INX InControl to support Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) activities across its head office and multiple project sites. The implementation positioned INX InControl as the primary safety management application for capturing Safety KPI records and administering site mobilisation controls during events at Gruyere Gold Roads Mine Laverton, the Barrow Island DOMGAS Turnaround Event, and the Roy Hill Rail Port Hedland shut.
The configuration emphasized safety data capture and compliance tracking within INX InControl, with routine registration and upload of Safety KPI records performed by site administrators and head office staff. Operational responsibilities tied to the application included maintaining and auditing national electrical registers and state statutory requirements for Electrical and Instrumentation licences, managing Electrical and Instrumentation Nominee applications and licences, and scheduling nominee training as part of EHS governance.
Integrations and operational workflows linked INX InControl to Civmec operational tools and processes, with timesheet entry and upload flowing from an Access database Job Tracker used for payroll reconciliation, leave application processing and organisational chart maintenance recorded within SAP, and travel and accommodation coordination managed through CTM. Prior to mobilisations staff completed a one month training stint at Chevron's head office covering both the Track'em payroll program and INX mobilisation, flights and accommodation functionality, supporting joint operations during a KBR and Civmec joint venture event.
Governance and process workstreams were adjusted to align with the INX InControl deployment, including the population and distribution of weekly project meeting minutes, production of weekly and monthly management reports, submission of client monthly claims, reconciliation of labour hire invoices, and coordination with ER HR for smooth onboarding and mobilisation of interns. The deployment integrated EHS recordkeeping and licence compliance into routine operational reporting and training schedules, providing a single application reference for safety KPI capture and compliance administration.

Hancock Prospecting | Oil, Gas and Chemicals | 4300 | $9.6B | Australia | INX Software | INX InControl | Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) | 2017 | n/a |
In 2017, Hancock Prospecting implemented INX InControl to centralize Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) processes across its Pilbara exploration operations. The deployment targeted Mulga Downs exploration activities, covering RC and Diamond Drilling rigs, earthmoving contractors, field teams, and camp accommodation and catering during the restart of the exploration program after a five year mothballing period.
The implementation established INX Safety Management Systems capabilities for document control, incident and injury management workflows, risk assessments, and leadership KPI monitoring. INX InControl was configured to support document control methodology and to capture risk assessments for field and campsite activities including housekeeping and catering, while providing reporting processes used by site safety and paramedic teams.
Operational scope included oversight of drilling and contractor safety, injury management functions, and regulatory reporting, with specific handling of DMIRS SRS notifications and data reporting as part of the system driven workflows. The system administrator role was embedded with Hancock Prospecting staff, who coached users and operational leads on using INX InControl for daily safety reporting and regulatory submission preparation.
Governance changes accompanied the technical deployment, notably reintroduction and development of safety processes, rewriting key management plans, and development and monitoring of site and leader KPIs. Explicit achievements recorded include the introduction of a Document Control system and methodology, the update or rewrite of key Management Plans, and the implementation and ongoing administration of INX Safety Management Systems including reporting processes and user coaching.
