EZ-Link | Banking and Financial Services | 150 | $25M | Singapore | Jedox | Jedox AIssisted | ML and Data Science Platforms | 2023 | Attain Analytics |
In 2023, EZ-Link implemented Jedox AIssisted as its enterprise planning and reporting platform within the ML and Data Science Platforms category to centralize budgeting, forecasting and management reporting across the organization. The choice was driven by Jedox's strong Microsoft Excel integration, reporting functionality and a favorable pricing structure, and the implementation was delivered with support from Attain Analytics as the SI/VAR partner.
The deployment established a centralized OLAP database as a single source of truth, replacing manual Excel consolidation with automated data extraction, transformation and load processes. Functional capabilities implemented include management reporting automation, Financial Budgeting and Analysis, Financial Statutory Reporting, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet Forecasting, and Planning and Forecasting, alongside Jedox Excel plus for ad-hoc analysis and fast data interrogation.
Operational rollout followed a phased timeline over approximately six months, beginning with Management and Reporting Analysis in February, Financial Budgeting and Analysis in March, Financial (Statutory) Reporting in April, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet Forecast in June, and Planning and Forecasting in August. The program standardized departmental data collection into five templates with role-based rights assigned to users, and all departments and business stakeholders including CEO and CFO were involved in requirements gathering and template design.
Integrations were intentionally limited to Microsoft Excel sources, creating a streamlined path from existing spreadsheets into the Jedox environment without additional BI tools. The implementation covers companywide use for monthly reporting and analysis, annual budgeting, and quarterly and monthly forecasting, enabling each department and user to generate reports for management meetings from the centralized OLAP store.
Outcomes reported include transparent and efficient planning and reporting, the ability to perform ad-hoc analyses via Jedox Excel plus, consolidated financial and non-financial visibility, and a shift from annual and bi-annual forecasts to more frequent forecasting every one to two months. Future scenarios noted by EZ-Link include cloud conversion and adoption of Jedox AIssisted Planning for revenue forecasting when appropriate, to further enhance forecast accuracy and planner productivity.

Mitsui Chemicals Europe | Oil, Gas and Chemicals | 60 | $7M | Germany | Jedox | Jedox AIssisted | ML and Data Science Platforms | 2017 | HICO-Group |
In 2017, Mitsui Chemicals Europe implemented Jedox AIssisted in the ML and Data Science Platforms category to simplify and accelerate sales planning across its European subsidiary. The implementation was led by the Performance Controlling department with HICO-Group as the implementation partner, consolidating prior Microsoft SQL and Access based planning and Excel scenarios into a unified Jedox planning environment.
The deployment embedded the Jedox AI module Predictive Forecast as part of the Jedox AIssisted Planning solution to support a 12 month rolling sales forecast, using predefined business logic and AI generated sales predictions. Core functional capabilities included in-memory planning and aggregation, granular splashing of values to individual customers and materials, and predefined reporting and evaluation delivered by the AI standard model.
Data integration used the Jedox Integrator as a central data hub to map and migrate historical records from SAP and optimize existing Jedox data cubes for quality and performance. Operational coverage centered on FP&A and sales planning processes for multiple product groups and product SKUs, with forecasts segmented by customer, material and region within Mitsui Chemicals Europe.
Governance and rollout began as a pilot, running AI generated forecasts in parallel with manual forecasts to provide automated comparisons and strengthen planner confidence in the model outputs. HICO-Group supported the pilot configuration and the team addressed a data sufficiency challenge by augmenting the initial 1.5 years of history toward the recommended three year dataset to improve model training.
Outcomes reported from the implementation include forecast accuracy increases up to 95 percent for several product groups, greater transparency and planning detail, and faster scenario adjustment using the Jedox In-memory engine. Mitsui continues to use Jedox AIssisted predictions to support sales planners while incrementally growing the underlying dataset for further optimization.

Nolle+Nordhorn | Professional Services | 55 | $5M | Germany | Jedox | Jedox AIssisted | ML and Data Science Platforms | 2022 | n/a |
In 2022, Nolle+Nordhorn implemented Jedox AIssisted to extend its SAP environment for detailed sales reporting, analysis and planning across wholesale, project and manufacturing divisions. The initiative addressed gaps in SAP standard analyses and replaced complex Excel workarounds with a web and mobile reporting layer accessed by management, finance and field sales.
The deployment used a Jedox cloud solution built on the Jedox Model SAP BI Ready to Run SD to deliver a highly scalable sales controlling layer. Functional capabilities implemented include sales reporting and analysis dashboards, DB1 invoice monitoring, incoming orders and offers tracking, material and purchasing evaluations, PDF report generation on demand, and integrated sales planning workflows. Jedox AIssisted Planning was introduced to generate machine learning driven default plan values from historical SAP data, while planners retain the ability to review and adjust forecasts.
Operationally the Jedox application is fed by SAP data, with the sales controlling system running separately from the internal SAP production system to avoid impact on company-wide operations. Access is provided via web and mobile interfaces under centrally controlled rights regulations, covering the finance department, management and field sales personnel. Advanced Applications GmbH, an SAP specialist and Jedox partner, supported the implementation as part of an SAP relaunch. The solution manages detailed plans for around 400 customers per sales employee in multiple segments.
Governance changes included a clear separation between transactional SAP operations and the analytical sales controlling layer, plus centralized access controls and outsourced cloud maintenance to free finance staff from routine IT tasks. As a deployment within the ML and Data Science Platforms category, Jedox AIssisted uses machine learning to prefill plan values which sales representatives can accept or adjust, enabling planners to concentrate on top customers. The project produced daily updated dashboards and consistent figures from a single data source, improving meeting efficiency and optimizing utilization of finance resources, while the cloud architecture allows further scaling and tailoring as data volumes and requirements grow.

Terminix | Professional Services | 11700 | $2.1B | United States | Jedox | Jedox AIssisted | ML and Data Science Platforms | 2019 | n/a |
In 2019, Terminix implemented Jedox AIssisted as part of its ML and Data Science Platforms practice to advance FP&A forecasting and customer loyalty modeling. The deployment was led by the FP&A team under Jamie Cousin with technical stewardship from Kevin Kennedy and Steve Krantz, positioning the finance organization as the primary owner for analytics and predictive use cases.
Jedox AIssisted was configured to operate as a data hub for large customer datasets, ingesting customer sales agreement information that includes purchases, frequencies, billing, balances, and product attributes. The implementation leveraged Jedox native AI capabilities to perform feature engineering, train and score predictive models, and surface ranked features influencing customer loyalty, using pre-built algorithms and an intuitive, non‑technical user workflow.
Operationally the project focused on FP&A analytics with planned operational extension into branch-level decisioning, marketing, and HR perspectives for customer retention. The team assembled data from several sources rather than relying on ERP and multiple budget ledgers, enabling faster data manipulation and iterative model development under finance control.
Governance was established with FP&A ownership and subject matter expertise from Kevin Kennedy to manage datasets, track model outputs over time, and prepare experimental validation. Outcomes reported included rapid insight generation, discovery of influential features such as contract value, tenure, product mix, and proactive outreach, and a planned control test to compare branches using AI-informed actions against branches that do not use the AI results.
