In 2021, Clarion Housing United Kingdom implemented Microsoft OneDrive as part of its Content Management footprint. The Microsoft OneDrive deployment was adopted by customer support teams in Croydon and by case management staff to centralize procedural documents and training materials for housing operations. Use cases documented during the implementation included Tenancy Review, Delegated Authority, Legal disrepair, Keys and Fobs, Decants, Customer Payments and Advise and Support.
Microsoft OneDrive served as the primary document repository, enabling version control, controlled sharing, and centralized storage of correspondence templates, process forms, and a training guide for processing keys and fobs. Denso Korea | Manufacturing | 1733 | $450M | South Korea | Microsoft | Microsoft OneDrive | Content Management | 2020 | n/a |
In 2020, Denso Korea implemented Microsoft OneDrive as a Content Management solution to centralize engineering and design artifacts. Microsoft OneDrive was provisioned to hold Excel workbooks and related component data used by research and design teams, establishing a cloud-first repository for document management and version control.
During a 2022 project running from July to November, a senior researcher associated with Wikhan Soft Korea developed automation systems to convert and send car component data from multiple Excel workbooks. The automation filtered and integrated Excel data sourced from Denso Korea car component URLs, and programmatically retrieved data from Denso's car component design system to update Excel files stored on Microsoft OneDrive.
The implementation architecture used Microsoft OneDrive as the central cloud storage layer with automated ingestion and synchronization routines that read, transform, and write workbook data. Integrations explicitly included HTTP based retrieval from a designated component design URL and subsequent updates to files on OneDrive, with automation tooling handling conversion and consolidation of workbook formats.
Governance and operationalization included documented procedures and a user manual produced for the developed projects, standardizing Excel schemas and centralized file locations on Microsoft OneDrive. The rollout focused on research and component design functions within Denso Korea, with the user manual supporting operational handover and ongoing maintenance of the automated update flows.

Finnfund | Banking and Financial Services | 101 | $48M | Finland | Microsoft | Microsoft OneDrive | Content Management | 2024 | n/a |
In 2024, Finnfund implemented Microsoft OneDrive to extend its Content Management footprint alongside an existing M-Files document management environment. The deployment placed Microsoft OneDrive into the organization as the primary file sharing and endpoint synchronization layer for project teams and administrative staff, while M-Files continued to serve as the repository for new client and administrative documents and as the system of record for metadata and lifecycle workflows. Finnfund Microsoft OneDrive deployment emphasized device sync, web and mobile access, and collaborative editing capabilities common to the Content Management category to reduce friction when users needed to co-edit or access documents across devices. The Microsoft OneDrive environment was configured to interoperate with M-Files and the broader Microsoft 365 suite, leveraging the explicit M-Files integrations for OneDrive, SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams to surface files for editing and email capture while preserving M-Files governed metadata and approval processes. Governance was aligned to existing security rules and document access policies, with OneDrive sharing controls scoped to complement M-Files access provisioning, and operational scope covered project document collaboration and administrative records management across Finnfund in Finland.
