In 2017 Bidfood Australia implemented MYOB PayGlobal Time and Attendance to centralize employee time capture and workload for payroll administration. The deployment focused on Time and Attendance capabilities to support a national distribution workforce across all Australian states and territories. The implementation configured core time capture and exception management workflows, scheduled and ad hoc reporting, and export routines for payroll consumption. MYOB PayGlobal Time and Attendance was used for day to day time and attendance management including exception review, reconciliation of discrepancies, and generation of payroll-ready time exports. Integrations consisted of regular exports from the Time and Attendance system that were imported into the payroll process to support manual transactions such as terminations, redundancies, backpays, parental leave adjustments, and workers compensation calculations. Operational coverage encompassed roughly 2500 employees across 50 branches, with system use aligned to 23 enterprise bargaining agreements and seven Modern Awards to ensure appropriate pay rates and award interpretations. Governance and operating practices were formalized around payroll team rotations to maintain expertise across multiple EBAs and Modern Awards, VEVO checks and employee record maintenance, issuance of EBA letters of appointment, and rigorous data integrity checks. End of month processes included management of superannuation, payroll deductions and disbursements, monitoring of the payroll inbox to resolve queries, and running reports to support workers compensation calculations.
