Interfaces were planned and implemented to reconcile procure to pay transactions with AVEVA's financial ledger and accounts payable operations to maintain transactional integrity and financial posting consistency. Governance activities during the engagement included establishing centralized procurement controls, defining approval matrices, and conducting system testing and knowledge transfer. The Oracle Cloud P2P Lead Consultant role documented configuration decisions, supported user acceptance testing and provided operational handover to AVEVA procurement and finance process owners.

Governance and process changes included establishment of a documented Procurement Process and central ownership of the Oracle Fusion system by the procurement team, which is responsible for ongoing configuration updates and user experience improvements. The team analyses spend data regularly to identify cost optimisation opportunities and continuously refines workflows and supplier management practices to align with evolving regional procurement requirements.
