Epson japan implemented SEI QuickSolution in 2019 to establish a companywide information sharing and search platform. The deployment used SEI QuickSolution in the Application, Web and Enterprise Search category and was delivered by Sumitomo Electric Information Systems, targeting document and knowledge management for R&D, design and manufacturing in Japan.
The implementation focused on enterprise indexing and search capabilities, ingesting and indexing approximately 100TB of content and about 160 million files. In 2023 Fukuoka Financial Group implemented SEI QuickSolution from Sumitomo Electric Information Systems, deploying an Application, Web and Enterprise Search platform to enable secure, access controlled cross document search and management across multiple banks in the group in Japan. The deployment targeted finance and document management functions, centralizing search and retrieval across bank file servers and attachment repositories.
SEI QuickSolution was configured to index document metadata, full text, and embedded attachments including ZIP files, and to surface cross document relationships and search relevance for finance workflows. As an explicit operational outcome the deployment enabled decommissioning of an underused document management system, improved retrieval of attachments including ZIPs, and established a more efficient group document management posture for the banking units covered by the rollout.
