Integrations included coordinated use of STAR FSM for material receipt while Star IPS handled equipment transfer issues and returns between supply base and rigs, showing operational linkage between procurement and field service workflows. The system supported documentation flows with clearance agents and clients to address customs requirements and potential tax exemption for load outs, and it incorporated hazardous materials handling through MSDS labeling and e-SWIS updates for scheduled waste reporting, covering supply chain logistics and warehouse functions across both bases.
Governance and process controls were implemented with monthly submissions of spare part management equipment inventory and tubular records to management, a vendor bidding process for disposal of expired certified equipment and scrap, and a maintained Base Manual to codify procedures. Communication protocols with drilling rig teams and inventory reconciliation practices were established to ensure that records in Star IPS aligned with physical movements at storage yards and the ASB jetty.
