Commercianti Indipendenti Associati | Retail | 13215 | $3.4B | Italy | Tesisquare | TESI TC1 | Logistics Management | 2022 | n/a |
In 2022 Commercianti Indipendenti Associati implemented TESI TC1 within its Logistics Management environment to introduce structured supplier booking at its Ce.Di. distribution centers. The implementation coincided with a larger program of warehouse expansion and layout revision in Forlì that increased total floor space and inventory references, positioning the TESI TC1 deployment to address higher inbound volumes and more complex category separation between food and non food.
TESI TC1 was configured primarily as a booking and appointment management layer for supplier unloads, supporting time slot scheduling, inbound booking workflows, and directional calls based on warehouse demand. The deployment leveraged standard Logistics Management capabilities for slot standardization, appointment confirmation, and sequencing of supplier arrivals to reduce queuing and smooth dock operations.
Operationally the TESI TC1 rollout covered multiple Ce.Di. nodes including the expanded Forlì facilities and the Pievesestina darkstore used for ecommerce order preparation, aligning with new transporter accreditation via IT and faster gate access procedures. The implementation was integrated into operational practices that use calls and access control to accelerate unloading, and it was coordinated with Adriatica Logistics cold storage operations to preserve separation of frozen and non frozen flows.
Governance around the system was designed to feed into a centralized traffic office initiative, intended to manage, organize and control transport flows under a single cooperative function, and to standardize unloading time slots and communications between members and the cooperative. The implementation supports stated objectives to improve punctuality of deliveries and reduce vehicle waiting times, which the cooperative reported contributes to lower transit environmental impact and reduced fuel consumption.

Conad Adriatico | Retail | 9064 | $2.3B | Italy | Tesisquare | TESI TC1 | Logistics Management | 2022 | n/a |
In 2022, Conad Adriatico implemented TESI TC1 as part of a Logistics Management initiative led by the Conad Logistics division to digitalize logistics information processes. The deployment centered on the TESISQUARE platform for end to end supply chain visibility and the TESI TC1 collaborative portal for slot booking and time monitoring, creating a unified interface for logistics operations across the network.
TESI TC1 was configured to automate unloading slot booking processes and to capture on time acquisition of order real status, including explicit status tracking for loading from supplier, slot booking, unloading of goods, and shipping orders. Functional modules implemented include collaborative slot booking, time monitoring and status orchestration, and automated status capture to support operational workflows and scheduling within the logistics organization.
The solution integrates operational data flows across Conad Logistics, connecting internal logistics teams with suppliers and carriers through the TESISQUARE platform, enabling real time data exchange and visibility among all supply chain actors. The deployment scope was specified at the Conad Logistics level and targeted the network of supply chain participants rather than a single site, supporting coordination of inbound unloading and outbound shipping processes.
Governance and rollout were managed by the Conad Logistics division with TESISQUARE as technological partner, and processes were restructured to centralize slot coordination and time monitoring in the TESI TC1 portal. The implementation improved communication within the network to coordinate, monitor, measure and check all supply chain data in real time, producing immediate communication between all the players in the supply chain as reported by Conad Adriatico.

Conad Nord Ovest | Retail | 18000 | $5.2B | Italy | Tesisquare | TESI TC1 | Logistics Management | 2022 | n/a |
In 2022 Conad Nord Ovest implemented TESI TC1 for Logistics Management. The deployment centralized appointment scheduling for Cedi goods receipt and formalized a booking workflow intended to reduce idle truck time and align arrivals with unloading capacity.
TESI TC1 was configured to present suppliers with available unloading slots that are compatible with each platform's handling capacity, enforcing advance bookings and digital time-slot control. Functional capabilities implemented include slot selection and capacity matching, per-reservation token billing, user activation per branch, a visibility package that provides booking monitoring and real-time alerts for delays and unloading anomalies, and data extraction for offline analysis, with TESI TC1 handling user account activation and role-based access across branches.
Operational coverage extends across Conad cooperative branches including Cia, Conad Centro Nord, Pac 2000, Conad Adriatico, Conad Nord Ovest, Conad Nazionale, and Dao, and the system is used by suppliers and carriers interacting with the distribution centres. Supplier communications dated 29 March describe the new booking flows and the requirement to choose slots proposed by the system that are compatible with platform unloading capacity, indicating an enterprise-wide scheduling orchestration centered on distribution centre operations.
Governance and commercial terms were formalized via supplier notices, introducing a one-off user activation fee of 50 euros per Conad branch, a per-reservation cost charged as virtual tokens at 2.50 euros each, an optional visibility package priced at one euro with monitoring and alerting features, and an annual 50 euro fee to add additional users. The published example in supplier communications notes that a supplier serving all listed cooperatives would incur 350 euros in activation and token costs, and an illustrative aggregate of roughly 700 thousand euros was cited for 2,000 suppliers, while the communications also raised stakeholder questions about fee structure and service guarantees such as guaranteed unloading within 30 minutes of arrival.
