In 2021, Buffalo Public Schools deployed Tyler ExecuTime, replacing WorkForce EmpCenter Time and Attendance. Tyler ExecuTime serves as the district's Time and Attendance application for employee timekeeping and mobile clocking at work sites.

The deployment is delivered from an AWS hosted ExecuTime instance at buffalopsny.aws.executime.com, enabling browser and mobile browser access from any mobile device at the employee work site, there is no mobile application. Functional separation was maintained for teacher scheduling, Teachers, Teacher Aides, Teacher Assistants and Administrators continue to use AESOP for leave and substitute assignments, while ExecuTime is used for hourly and site-based timekeeping.

In 2014, the City of Cedar Hill implemented Tyler ExecuTime as its Time and Attendance solution. Tyler ExecuTime was positioned to centralize employee time capture for municipal payroll and scheduling functions.
Configuration centered on standard Time and Attendance capabilities, including employee time capture, timesheet entry, approval workflows, and absence tracking, consistent with municipal payroll operations. The City’s RFP response states that the software to be used for employee time capture in a future Munis environment had not been determined, and that at the time employees continued to key time directly into Eden ERP or via an online extension of the current Eden ERP system. This indicates a period of coexistence between Tyler ExecuTime and Eden ERP time entry until a formal Munis decision is made.
Governance and rollout considerations would include role based access, timecard approval chains, and preparation of payroll interfaces to align HR and finance processes, reflecting typical Time and Attendance deployment practices. The procurement record does not identify an implementation partner or specify an integration pathway to a Munis payroll module, therefore any Munis integration approach remains to be decided by the City.
