The program was executed as a global initiative to unify HR processes and employee experience across NEC Corporation operations, with SuccessFactors serving as the centralized HRIS component for learning and adjacent talent workflows. The implementation covered multiple SAP SuccessFactors modules including Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance and Goals, Succession Development, with later rollouts of Compensation and Learning. Strada led the global and technical design for the five initial modules, conducted a comprehensive gap analysis that identified a 50% gap against global best practices, and used those findings to define a target operating model that guided configuration, role-based workflows, and cutover sequencing for early stabilization of business as usual processes. Operational support and integrations were provided by Strada through Application Management Services and Customer Care, using ITIL framework best practices for incident resolution, SAP issue management, platform enhancements, and testing of mandatory changes in SAP bi-annual releases. Strada also delivered multi-channel, local language employee support and ongoing guidance on optional feature adoption. As part of NEC restructuring in 2023, Strada migrated the reorganized hierarchy into SAP SuccessFactors and updated workflows and business rules to prevent disruptions, and in 2025 Strada deployed a UKG Document Management solution across NEC regions to complement the SuccessFactors landscape. Governance and process transformation were formalized with clearly defined Global Process Owners and a strengthened decision-making structure that assigned ownership of governance artifacts and operational responsibilities. Defining the target operating model was treated as a milestone to ensure consistent processes, and Strada’s advisory services established global centers of excellence and standardized operating procedures to reduce fragmentation in international talent management. Outcomes reported by NEC include consolidation of 29 HR systems into a single HRIS, high global user adoption exceeding 90 percent, and improved talent management through a unified SuccessFactors suite. The combined program of SAP SuccessFactors Learning and related modules delivered standardized processes, clearer governance, and ongoing AMS and Customer Care support that together underpin NEC Europe’s HR operational excellence and employee experience. | |
